Get Fenced-In!

The American Cowboy Museum is located on the historical Taylor-Stevenson Ranch Area and operates without state or federal funding. The Museum serves the community by preserving and interpreting the art, history, and culture of the American West through engaging exhibitions, educational programs, and public events reflective of the region’s rich traditions and shared heritage.

We've launched a fundraising campaign, called the Fenced-In Project.

This is an improvement fundraiser. Improvements include fence, pillars and new entries. Section of the fence is being sold. Memorials and donations needed!

Think it over. Talk it over with your family or organization. Think of memorials that can be given. By remembering your community, help us bring the spirit of the West alive by supporting the American Cowboy Museum with your donation today! Please donate to the Fenced-In Project Fundraising Campaign.

A Museum Sign, Entrance Gate  & Fence Project

The Sign | Our Goal $10,000

The American Cowboy Musuem needs a new sign. The sign at the entrance of any museum is important. ACM Board of Directors kicked off a fundraiser to install a new sign because the current sign, built in the 1980s, is rotting, broken, and is fading. The new sign was the brainchild of the Mollie Stevenson, who said she was inspired after driving by and looking at the sign and thinking that the sign needed to be updated.

“We’re not looking for $1,000 from one place or $500 from another, just a constant stream of $5 or whatever people can afford and as often as they want to,” Mollie said. “It’s a grass-roots project just like the Presidential campaign with $5 and $10 donations."

Your family name or organization will be recognized at the unvailing press conference and in the event program.

The Entrance Gate | Our Goal $12,000

The American Cowboy Museum has embarked on a mission to beautify the entrance and gateway into the the historic Taylor-Stevenson Ranch, which is home of the American Cowboy Museum. The new 'Entrance Gate' will replace the wooden fence that was placed on the property and will be incredibly functional, yet strikingly original, with unmistakable driveway designed gate with peramitor fencing to enhance the beauty and security of the American Cowboy Museum.

Please help us in reaching our goal. Your generosity of a contribution will enable us to complete our fence project on schedule. Any donation amount is welcomed. Please send your tax-deductible donation today — a donation of as little as $5, $10 or $25 can help create a 'new entrance'. Be sure to specify what your donation is to be used for, and we thank you in advance for your friendship and generosity! Please make your check payable to:

The Fence | Our Goal $5,000

Friends of the American Cowboy Museum are encouraged to sponsor a fence board or post for the Taylor-Stevenson Ranch Area as part of the Fenced-In Project. Sponsored boards and posts will be placed on the fence located adjacent to the walking path between the entrance off Almeda Road.

The Ranch Fence Sponsorship Project was started to offer supporters and friends another opportunity to support the American Cowboy Museum and the Taylor-Stevenson Ranch Area. When the project is near completion, the ACM's Leadership team and the ACM's Board of Directors will host a dedication to showcase the sponsored boards and posts. A sponsorship includes the person or business’ name on a board or post, which is visible to farm visitors and from the road. The cost to sponsor a board is $500, and a company logo can be placed on a board for $1,000 per year – a three-year commitment.

Any donation amount is welcomed.

Sponsorships can be made by contacting the American Cowboy Museum office. Questions about the project should be directed to Mollie Stevenson,

713-478-9677. Of course all donation is tax deductible.
