The Barn is the heart and soul of any Ranch. Like on a ranch, the Museum Barn Building will be the heart and soul of the community.

With a New Museum:

  1. Provide a home that offers visitors a true and complete historical perspective of the people and activities that built the unique culture of the American West

  2. House materials that tell a complete story.

  3. Honor the men and women who have made exemplary contributions to the history and preservation of western culture past and present

  4. Provide shelter for the work of artists who documented the people and events of the time through journals, photographs, and other historical items that are part of this collection

Help Us "Build-A-Barn" by funding this American Cowboy Museum's Building Project. Our goal is $1.5M

With your donation... together we can:

  • Create a new museum home to showcase historical letters, memorabilia, newspapers, legal documents, clothing, letters, photographs, and oral histories. It's a big job.

  • Make urgent repairs and expand our old greenhouse so we can get an early start on the tender vegetables we sell to the community, plant in our fields, and donate to people in need during our Grand Market & Farmer Market Event. The greenhouse also serves as an indoor classroom, and we must increase capacity to match the demand.

  • Restore and increase capacity in the Children's Healing Garden, where we teach gardening classes to children from the nearby public schools through our 'Schools and Youth' program.

With your support we can complete all of the carpentry work on the Museum an actually "Build A Barn" by May 2014; When an amazing team of 12 master carpenters and brick layers who have volunteered their skills will descend on Taylor-Stevenson Ranch Area with hammers, saws, and more than 300 combined years of experience!

We hope you'll support the "Build-A-Barn" project and join us in the spring for a traditional barn raising.

Choose the $50 reward and be a part of the celebration. We'll have live music, tours of the gardens and vegetable beds. We'll also have horse roping demonstrations for you to enjoy as you stroll the beautiful ranch area.

Please be sure to specify what your donation is to be used for; We would like to 'Thank You In Advance' for your friendship and generosity!
