Support & Join Our Fundraising Efforts

With a limited operating budget and only one part-time staff member, the American Cowboy Museum depends wholly on members willing to donate time, expertise and/or funds. Your support enables us to share a diverse, 150 years of Texas history with visitors from around the world!

There are many ways to give to the American Cowboy Museum along with the Taylor-Stevenson Historical Ranch Area with benefits and privileges available to you in thanks for your generosity.

We're challenging ourselves to raise $60,000 for our general fund. Some of that money will be used for deferred facilities maintenance (such as repairs to existing buildings, signs and our fence). Some will be used to hire new professional staff (to help out with promoting the Museum, with education, and with developing new public programs). Some will help expand our educational programs that serve 1000 students and educators each year.

We look forward to growing educational programs and the ranch’s facilities through your contributions.

Fund A Farm Animal

Many Animals to Choose From!

Taylor-Stevenson Ranch animals are in need of loving “parents” to sponsor their monthly food, shelter and veterinary care costs. Ranch animals are available for sponsorship through our Fund a Farm Animal Program ... choose the type of animal that's right for you ...

Fenced-In Project

A renovation of the museum entrance

The American Cowboy Museum on the Taylor-Stevenson Ranch Area has a history that dates back to 1800s. Please join us as we embark on this journey of restoration. We need your support as we renovate the Museum's sign, entrance area and repair the fence.

Museum Building

A grand home for ACM

The collection of historical artifacts, textiles and original artwork has outgrown its current space and desperately needs a new home to showcase this integral part of the past. Since the museum is located on a working ranch, the ideal building design is inspired by the hardworking, durable structure of a barn.

Help Build-A-Barn by funding this community project.

Historical Touring Exhibit

American Cowboy Museum has a traveling “Historical Exhibit” to expand the reach of the organization and provide educational programming to youth in schools and community groups. The children gain a deeper understanding of animal husbandry, nature and history. The traveling exhibit includes a petting

zoo, western demonstrations, storytelling and hundreds of photographs, textiles and artifacts.
